Possible World-Record Snake Mackerel Landed In...
Charles Ebanks landed a 169 pound escolar (a.k.a snake mackerel or butterfish) on 30lb testin Grand Cayman this week, setting a new record for that species of fish caught on a line of that size. via the Cay Compass:
The catch is a possible world record as well, pending notification from the International Game Fish Association, the global governing body for competitive angling.
